The Ribs, Pigs & Watermelons event at Huntington State Beach is a :
Pro BBQ competition & Beer Festival taking place Friday through Sunday, August 16-18.
  
This barbeque competition is sanctioned by the (KCBS) Kansas City Barbeque Society. and 65 +/- teams will compete for $10,000 in prizes.
   
The Pigs, Ribs and Watermelon BBQ competition will feature over a small lot craft beers to enjoy along with the flavorful BBQ meat. There will be free watermelon for all with watermelon carving demonstrations, watermelon eating contest, seed spitting, and other interesting activities.
