What a GREAT weekend. Thanks to all that made it out. Thanks again for everybody's support and participation. I believe that this was the nicest and warmest weekend that we have had since maybe September 2010! I think we finally deserved it !
Friday evening Potluck was great. Everybody turned in such GREAT submissions. I enjoyed EVERYTHING a bunch. Thanks to all the folks for providing an entrée and making everything so special !!!
When I sent out the notice that Jim Sheridan had cancelled out and our breakfast entrées were more important than ever... Steve Madaule, Ardith, and Ted, all stepped up and filled the vacuum with fantastic eggs, breakfast meats, and everything else that put the breakfast over the top. I did love the fried bologna for breakfast Steve !!! Of course, I am sure we have all appreciated Ardith's wonderful breakfast plates at all our contest !!! Thanks to "All Hogs go to Heaven" cooking team, and EVERYBODY else that helped with breakfast and put it over the top also !!!! AND, I don't want to take away from the FANTASTIC entrées everybody else brought for breakfast, just they helped me fill a gaping void.
Anyway, it was a great event, I appreciate all that came out and participated, made it special and hope that next years will be even better yet. We have already reserved all the spaces so next year is already a go... AND, you all need to start making your plans!
Big thanks go to: Next years Q-FEST will be... February 10,11,12-2012. All the same spots are reserved again. All who showed up this year will be automatically reassigned to their same spot unless they want another available spot for 2012.
