World BBQ Association Update

World Record in constant barbecue.


The team BIG BOYS BARBEQUE.com made a new world record during the fair beef.ch this year.

The target was to beat the existing record made by Gourmet Grillers from Pforzheim in Hahn Airport Germany in 2005 with 27 hours constant grilling.

www.BIGBOYSBARBEQUE.com had to barbecue constantly with at least 600 pounds of meat in the smoker, no break or extinguish fire was allowed.

Starting late Wednesday 29th of Augus 2007t, ending late night Sunday the 9th of September 2007, barbecuing at least 8000 pounds of meat and ribs, achieving more then 260 hours of

constant barbecue.

The BIG BOY was paptised and named on our great former President of Kansas City Barbecue Society Gary Wells.

The BIG BOY was designed and built to make the first visit of the best barbecuer on the planet Mike and Debbie Davis from Lotta Bull BBQ Oklahoma, coming to Europe next year to show the world the best in Barbecue, to a real highlight.

Mike and Debbie will give the first session on 3rd to 4th of April at the Frühlingsmesse Dornbirn Austria. Interested session participants apply to rolf.zubler@wbqa.com (maximum participants 25 persons. First comes first serves)

Encouraged by Roger Wilfinger from Oggenfuss Catering the BIG BOY became shape and is realized. Thanks to Roger and Mikes proposed visit.

Thanks to my Family who was patient during the production and welding time of 5 month. Thanks to Fritz who made the marketing and photos. Thanks to Wickli Metallbau, who gave me the chance to make this first prototype of rotisserie on the road real. Great thank to Gero Sczech, who made the homepage working so good. Thanks to Andreas Rummel who helped welding and motoring. Thanks to the Hansruedi Wälchli who paptised the BIG BOY with a great bottle of Jack Daniels and thanks to my wife Carola, who gave all here sympathy and love to make the steal come to the Boy. Thanks to all my good friends who gave there positive spirit to this new project of barbecue promotion in Europe.

BIG BOY Nr. 1 will start the revolution of going large in barbecue right trough all catering and fairs.

BIG BOY will be at Martini market from 8th to 11th of November in Frauenfeld Switzerland, be there and get a sample of the best pulled pork in Europe.

We will be at Messe Schaffhausen for the next weekend to represent Cactus Jack and Soft Tub for Visiontrade.

BIG BOYS BARBEQUE is made to please all Barbecue lovers and meat eaters.

Everyone on the continent has the chance to have the 3xB real in his town.
